Elizabeth presents a collection of thoughts and musing of daily life. Her representation of images creates emotions, tells stories and allows space for people to make their own connections and interpretations with the paintings. The artist’s objective is to emanate emotions to look deep inside ourselves creating a space for peace, calm and expressions of love, and care for others. In the end, reciprocating the emotions from the art towards the outside world.
Winter Shadows – When a vehicle’s light illuminates and reflects what is in front into the wall.
“Salsa, Rumba and Cha-cha” –The joy of music, movement and colors brings positive energy to our soul.
Lady – She is the nurturing soul of our existence. Like mother earth holding everything together. In Andean cultures it can be Pachamama.
“Sun Flower” – The representation of the summer warmth and layers that represent movement going. It is also my son flower. Behind the flower it a drawing of my son.
“Chiquilla” means young woman. The representation of beauty and kid heart.
Nov. 2018. Earth at night. I sight at night of the landscape illuminated by the night sky and a little imagination of the earth turning.
Birch trees. I started this painting thinking of our forest and the dangers of wildfires. Birch trees are very common in Massachusetts. I love their colors and the softness of the bark.
Legs with many colors bring to my mind a diversity, movement, going forward and if it is turned in every angle.
